Principal Chemist & LM Fellow
Steve Sinton is a Lockheed Martin Fellow at the Advanced Technology Center of LM Space Systems Company. He received a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1981 with a specialty in magnetic resonance. From 1981 to 1987 he was a staff chemist at Exxon, where he applied his expertise in magnetic resonance to problems in enhance oil recovery systems. He has been with Lockheed Martin since 1987. His current research interests are materials science and nanotechnology with emphasis on applications of carbon allotropes in aerospace and other applications.
